The BIG Stage ReCap...

Yo, BIG ups and praises to any and all that displayed appreciation for our artistic live expression last night at Lupo's at The Strand....
The GZA runnin' & gunnin' through "Liquid Swords" and Wu classics (complete with other Wu members verses) was beyond a sight to see, and honestly, I actually walked away in full belief that I had just witnessed a memoriable performance of Hip Hop history...On the really reelz, "Liquid Swords" doesn't go down in my top ten of all time lists, but with this cat riflin' through a great deal of said album, I completely relived an album I probably hadn't touched in over a decade....All with no hype man....Having now first hand beared witnessed to this stellar experience after all the negative scrutiny I read from internerds gabbin' gossip all over the message boards...I have a redifined opinion of Wu greatness and an appreciation for the jewels they did drop that I forgot I even enjoyed...And it just so happens that it's the GZA who's joints I got re-introduced to in said rediscovery...
Anyhow, as is the majority of my time on this planet, my fast forward, blurred life experience doesn't allow me to marinate amongst those I appreciate being around most, but I do have the respect to make sure I thank yall in proper context...With that sad, big ups to Fraiz, J Strest, Cev Rock, Barry & Crystal, our main mans Curtis, Intrikit, Magnum Matty P.I., J.D.O., Anime, Troop (Congrats on the new seed)...The list goes on & on & on like Bennetton....Alla yall out there with the attentive ears and kind words....Peace, peace, peace....
Speaking of Intrikit, he got this new unreleased material FREE download remix joint yall should peep out with glasses, ya "Bi-Focal Bastids":

Come check us out rockin' courtesy ala Dox with The Educated Consumers this Thursday over at Tazza....
For your viewing pleasure, I now bring forth Friday night from the lens of my CrackBerry:

And yo, the whole night was FUN, a word some of you stiffs needa' incorporate into ya vocabulary a bit more...Happy Easter, whatever that means with a holiday that always falls on a non-work day (I kid, I kid)...Thanks Easter Bunny, this has been the most expensive Easter thus far and I imagine it won't get any cheaper as years go on.....Stay tuned to we for a montage of my daughter's incredible little sneaker collection as the challenge has been posed verbally by Swerv...lol...

Peace.
