Needless to say the air conditioner is out the window and the defrost in my car is being used far more than I've needed to use it in the last 5 months or so....
Ain't nathan really happenin' right now aside from getting back in the lab and trying to put the rest of our lives back on track....
I just St.ARTed recording for my new solo project tentitively entitled "The Simplistic Intricacy"....Big ups to Dox for giving me more than enough beats to tide me over until I can get what is necessary to complete said project....I'ma leave a lot about this new ish in the bag until I'm ready to light it a fire on ya doorstep....

Beats, Blunts, Brews, and Breaks at Blakes is back in effect for the Saturday Night Live-ers in Providence....Come through for a brew or ten but please don't St.ART junk or pop sh*t cause we all friends....that get one another's backs like that....word. Big ups to the Aster401 sighting at said event....Great to see you fams....

Home Court Disadvantage.....

You know what's really encouraging?

Returning home from being gone just 2 days out to rushing around engaging in evening activities (dinner, unpacking, spending "QT" with the fam, cleaning up, etc), going over last minute details, getting our mind right, and ensuring we actually get to the venue at a decent hour....for what?

Cats really tried to throw us on as the show opener?

Pinning the list order on one another?

I mean, much, much, much can be said about the whole ordeal in a serious sh*t slanging manner, but to keep ish positive and entertaining to any and all who actually read this digital word gumbo....here's the highlights followed by pictures fom the return ride from Illadelph/Jerz New to the end of the night's 195 late night misadventure back to the crib to clock Z's.....

Big ups to those who present themselves as peace people: Storm Davis, CEV, JT, Ro, Barry & Kristal, Romen Rok, J Strest, Gavin Castleton, Petey WheatStraw, Shonin Flesh, Spit Personalitys (Troop & Mic Feen), Neil Down.....To our dear buddies Ax Butane & Mike "Gigs" Delehanty, thank yall ever so much for the hospitality and respect. It always lives right up to exactly what we expect. Word.

So three shows 3 days in a row which isn't sh*t to the working musician but a big deal for musicians that work....It's gonna take too much to gain back the ground around the way on some home and occupational (Crocker!), but so be it.....Was it worth it? Yes and no, mostly yes. Would we do it again or extend ish into a more tour like state? Wish we could yo, wish we could....There's some serious responsibilty ish that falls over you once you're at a certain age or at a certain point in ya life where ya acquisitions dictate ya time investment.....Right now, while it looks like we can, cats will be getting back to the actual factual daily grind of bill paying and hope some of the seeds we planted in the last few months sprout whilst we return to reality....Definitely keep yall posted 'pon that there when it blesses accessability....

Peace to any and all who have been a positive reinforcement to we running around the upper industrial NorthEast for a few nights....I'm sticking with the Philly experience being my personal preference while Esh may disagree...I'm pretty sure Bums is with me on said assessment....Anyhow, here's the remainder of my visuals for yall to enjoy. As you can tell, Providence is a mad house at 2AM when the clubs let out and hell releases itself into the streets....Some of our closest bretheren surrounded we at our 3rd of the trio (of shows), I actually don't look half as trashished in this final picture as I did in other city stop's final pictures, and when bachelerette parties unleash themselves unto the front of the stage it makes for some great ass instant inspirado (Romen Rok, you lucky bastid)...That's all folks.

Finally gettin' to rock in front of the event & bar staff after everyone bounced and you missed your turn to rock in front of the actual crowd cause you outside blowin trees in the streets of Philly....Priceless.
Bums & I prefer this visit to the previous day's, but Esh is holding strong on our BodyMore visit...

Big ups to some very cool Pennsylvania inhabitants who rep the T.H.O.R. Take Over bretheren...godHead, DJ Soul Buck, the entire IIourShow crew, T.H.E., Ahd Child, this cat who shared tree called Cuzo, and some left field Scribble jam tour attendees in StoryVille and his man....Philly's real frESH yo, almost refrESHing...Some footage was shot, when we get the link you'll catch visual feelings....Word up....Cats can't stress how dope Philly is, I feel robbed never having gwan there before in any capacity...

Gutter BodyMore & The Biggest of Ups!!!!

First and foremost, the uttest ups and blessings sent toward my NYC famalams Damian & Heather Travier on the birth of their son Isaiah (Izzy) James Travier, on Thursday, September 4th, 2008 at 1:49am.....RefrESHing news whilst running up along the upper East Coast right now....

Baltimore, MD is a f*cking reality, ain't it? Damn, I was almost compelled to jump out the car and give a Furious Styles lecture to what I was seeing in all those run-the-f*ck down neighborhoods we drove through beyond lost; ingesting the local sites accidentally such as more New York Fried Chicken spots than necessary, strange extra large brothers (pause) running up on cats amazed with the t shirts we was rockin', and of course the insane amount of tranny hookers out and about at night (The Freaks Come Out!!!)

Anyhow, big ups to DJ Action Pat, Height, AK Slaughter (Homegirl in the crew Emily spits kinda ill original), the peoples over at Joe2 (Athena, what up!), and the cool cats that openly vibed along with we whilst away (the dude who looked like Brett from Flight of the Conchords especially)...Here's a few flicks from our BodyMore experience...We've since named this likkle 3 day run of shows "mini tour" as "The Peanut Butter & Jelly Grunyun Run". Blame Esh's genius idea in packing bread, jelly, and peanut butter for the ride to avoid stops during travel in his Dad's non-smoking vehicular butters. Yeah, okay, Esh...Squeeze.

Aight little man, IF? we end up looking like me in this last pic after tonight in Philly, Friday's Providence show is sure gonna be energized.......'Til then....
