In more disheartening news, Jax, aka Chris Thurman to his family and friends, from Binkis Recs passed away last night after passing out on stage during a performance.....He was 32 years old....Rest In Peace, cousin. For those that did not know, Gibran had been corresponding and working with Jax and Binkis Recs for the past 2 1/2 years and has/had production appearances on projects by Binkis and Jax solo projects alike....
It's incredibly sad to see young black men disappear from existance at such a young age. In fact, to all our fallen brothers and sisters who have passed this year, young and old, it is such a tragedy for you not to have gotten the opportunity to see glimpses of "the promise land" in our country about to be run by one of our own. To any and all people of color who had to endure Jim Crowe and seperatist society, the fight for civil rights, and prosecution based upon the color of your skin; Hope have no more, we can just have.
Oh, and a big Congrats shoutski to DJ Save1 and his better half on the birth of their son on this past Halloween....Life's so extreme negative and extreme positive right now. Balance, bretheren.
