Nice to see you on a site that I've been checking for a while.
CasUno's Top Ten Hip Hop Albums Ever ..not one record released after '97. My list,(particularly the criminally slept-on GoodFellas) would look very similar. Is this a refection of the degeneration of hip-hop, or just our inability to drop the backpack and adapt?
I think it just shows my age more so than anything else...

Seriously, I think I might subliminally not allow anything with little aging to be apart of "favorite" anything....
It's like "classic" vs. "favorite"...there is a difference...

There's a ton of albums I consider classics from 97 on...
They're just not in my comparative favorite "top ten" list ish...Top 20 might contain a bit more "up-to-date" ish....
Point being, it wasn't purposely done. Period.
